Your One Source for Casting Solutions
TexelQ will help you navigate and determine the manufacturing process that best fits your particular production requirement (Permanent Mold Gravity Die Casting, High Pressure Die Casting, Sand Casting, Hot Forging, Cold Forging and Investment Casting). There are a number of factors driving this selection process: alloy, geometry, size, surface finish, wall thickness, tolerances, draft, machining requirements, capabilities, and quantities required in a given time frame.
After determining the optimal casting process we will source the parts to one of our manufacturing partners who invest in the latest equipment and quality techniques, providing quality assurance at all stages of production.
Permanent Mold Gravity Die Casting
Permanent mold casting is typically used for high-volume production of simple metal parts with uniform wall thickness. The minimum wall thickness that can be permanent mold cast is approximately 4 mm because of the limited ability of metal to run into thin sections.
High Pressure Die Casting
The process is capable of turning molten metal into a solid near-net-shape part in seconds. The three main metal groups used with this die casting process are aluminum, zinc, and magnesium.
Sand Casting
Sand casting is a process where molten metal is cast in a mold made from a sand mixture.
Hot Forging
Hot forging can be defined as “a metal shaping process in which a malleable metal part, known as a billet or work-piece, is worked to a predetermined shape.
Cold Forging
The cold forging manufacturing process increases the strength of a metal through strain hardening at a room temperature.
